"Super Senior" Olympian Bert Morrow to Appear in Puyallup!Nationally Acclaimed 88-Year Old Announces Appearance to Demonstrate the Benefits of Inversion - and How Age Doesn't Have to Slow You Down
Puyallup, Wash. (March 27, 2001)
Morrow has become a worldwide celebrity, with appearances on Rosie O'Donnell and several other national venues, and Teeter Hang Ups is proud to announce that he will now appear in Puyallup for media opportunities throughout the day on Friday, April 6, and in the morning on Saturday, April 7. A dynamic and engaging personality, Morrow will demonstrate his track and field accomplishments, discuss his tips for better living, and will demonstrate how the daily practice of inversion has kept him "88 years young." Morrow will be making the media appearance sponsored by Teeter Hang Ups to heighten awareness of the benefits of inversion, the hows and whys of aging healthfully, and to solicit additional sponsorship of his upcoming competition at the World Veteran Track & Field Championships in Australia (July 2001). A longtime proponent of inversion, Morrow will be using the demonstration to illustrate the healthful benefits of inversion, and will also perform the inversion exercise and training regimen that has kept him in superb shape and flexibility for decades. Bert Morrow will be available for interviews, photo opportunities, and inversion/athletic/track and field demonstrations throughout the day on Friday, April 6, at a local Puyallup high school track and field arena to be named shortly. He will also be available for additional interviews in the morning on Saturday, April 7. Don't miss this opportunity for a human interest story unlike any other - Bert Morrow is living proof that we can get even better as we get older. Not only is Morrow superbly fit as he nears 90, but he continues to improve in speed and strength, breaking world records, garnering four gold medals at the San Diego Senior Olympics, and a silver medal in the 80m hurdles at the 13 th Annual World Veteran Track & Field Championships in England (where he was sponsored by Rosie O'Donnell herself). To set up interviews with Bert Morrow, or to notify us of your attendance, please contact Kim Grotzke at Teeter Hang Ups at (253) 840-5252.
