"Thank you for visiting the Teeter Hang Ups web site! We have done our best to provide you with an abundance of interesting information about Inversion therapy and Teeter Hang Ups products.

I encourage you to learn all you can about Inversion. I also encourage you to try it - sometimes all it takes is one time to really feel the benefits of Inversion.

How did I become such a proponent of Inversion? Around 1975, I dealt with a life-changing injury to my back. I was in a lot of pain and discovered Inversion as the only form of therapy that helped (see Teeter Hang Ups Story). I now have been pain free since 1980 and credit my health to a daily work out program that includes inversion therapy. I am in my late 60's - I credit inversion for giving me 1/2" of my original height back and I have never felt better!

To be healthy, your body must have movement. Tissot, an 18th Century doctor said, "Movement by its nature can replace many remedies, but all the remedies in the world cannot replace movement." Today, we might say it differently: "use it or lose it!" Now that I'm in my sixties, I've become much more concerned about functional fitness - a state of health that allows me to remain active and moving freely. Having joints that work and that let me play with the grandkids, water ski, or get through a whole round of golf is more important to me than just looking good.

Decompression with mobilization through inversion with stretching has helped return height and the related flexibility lost during my pre-inversion years. I feel great, and by God's grace, I can still do virtually anything that I did in my thirties and forties. As a bonus, I believe my posture is actually better that at any time in my life.
